This method uses your session for authentication. Transfers will run so long as you remain logged in to Bioshare.

Please note that writing and deleting operations are disabled for SFTP for shares containing symlinks

When connecting anonymously you must provide the share identifier (/DNA_TECH_SHARED_INSTRUMENTS).

Connecting

The easiest way to connect is by using an SFTP client. A popular cross platform option is Filezilla.

Alternatively, it may be useful to connect via the command line if transfering directly from a server:
sftp -P 2200 'anonymous'@bioshare.bioinformatics.ucdavis.edu:/DNA_TECH_SHARED_INSTRUMENTS

Rsyncing to Bioshare is disabled for shares containing symlinks.
